About This Website

In 1933-34, Kenneth Stubbs painted a 4-by-130 foot mural on classic children's stories at the Barber School in Highland Park, Michigan.

As of June 2006, one half of the mural -- two of four walls -- survives. Window repairs and building maintenance appear to have destroyed the other half, although some may survive beneath coats of room paint.
